Elsas hus is a youth centre for young people in the age of 15-20 years. Elsas Hus is run by studiefrämjandet i Östergötland on assignment of the municipality of Linköping. Studiefrämjandet i Östergötland is an NGO that arrange and offer courses and eucation for adults and juvenls in their leisure time such as theatre, dance, media, music, international culture and environment-nature. The profile of Elsas hus is culture - theatre and media. Today we arecoordinating two theatre groups, we have a café, a corner for creative work, a stage for different performances and walls we offer as exhibition space for young art. All our facilities are available for young people with ideas - that want to start some kind of activities. We have three rooms for rehearsal, a premise for watching movies and a café with a stage. The café is also used as a gallery where young people can show their art.
