L'objectif des organisateurs est de réduire les risques d'accidents chez les jeunes et de modifier leur comportement au volant. Le mot d'ordre du Rallye Paris-Berlin n'est pas la vitesse mais une conduite responsable, la maîtrise de son véhicule et l'éco-conduite. Les épreuves des concurrents ont été conçues à partir des causes réelles des accidents chez les jeunes : estimation de la vitesse, contrôle du temps de freinage, comportement dynamique du véhicule (transfert de masse, forçe centrifuge...)
